OXY-VIOLET Wound Spray is a potent anti bacterial product since it contains a very broad spectrum antibiotic (Oxytetracycline) which active against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms, (like streptococci, staphylococci, pasteurella spp., brucella spp., corynebacteria spp., actinobacillus spp., eperythrozoon spp., bordetella spp., ehrlichia spp.,coliforms, salmonella spp.) and spirochetes,mycoplasmas,rickettsiae spp.,chlamydia spp.and some protozoa. Activity against pseudomonas, proteusand Klebsiella spp. is low.

The Gentian Violet dye posses an anti fungal action, it is active against  candida albicans. It also work as a blue marker dye.

Indications

OXY-VIOLET Wound Sprayis indicated for the the prevention and treatment ofsuperficial local infections, dermatitis, footrot, udder lesions, teat lesions, wounds, lacerations and abrasions, dehorning, after surgical operations and in case of poultry cannibalism and depeacking.

OXY-VIOLET  Wound Spray  is suitable for use in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, dogs and cats.
Each can Contains oxytetracycline HCl 5% m/m, d-panthenol 3% m/m and gentian violet 0.5% m/m .
