Smaller Diameter magnetic single shot instruments are used to measure the well track in petroleum drilling technology, which has capability of recording the inclination, azimuth of well and the face angle of high-side tool used for elbow on the film by means of optical imaging. With features of simple recording, easy reading, easy explanation and permanently storable, it is suitable for measuring the inclination, azimuth of well and the face angle of high-side tool of elbow. Magnetic single shot instruments consists of instrument assembly and the protecting cartridge assembly. A selected angle unit, timer and other parts can be assembled together and put in protecting cartridge when using. Either throwing measuring mode or suspending measuring mode is available
