SLIP TYPE ELEVATORS "Y" SERIES
Varco
BJ "Y" Series elevators are conventional slip type elevators for
handling tubing and small casing. There are 7 types ranging from 20 to
200 ton capacity and covering pipe sizes from 1.05 to 7 5/8 inchese OD.
They feature a four slip design which give an optimum contact on the
pipe to prevent bttlenecking and gauge damage.
The Varco BJ "YC" type elevator is capable of handling dual
tubing strings. All type "Y" series elevator operate with the latch lock
combination for safety. The "MYC" and "YC" provide a 7" and the "HYC" a
10 1/2" of intert contact to grip your casing or tubing.

COLLAR TYPE ELEVATOR "A" SERIES
Center-latch
elevators are for handling collar-type drill pipe, casing and tubing.
All "A" type elevators are constructed in two halves of practically the
same weight, providing proper balance and easier opening and closing.
In open position
All "A" type elevators feature latch and safety latch lock combinations.

AUXILIARY ELEVATOR "S" SERIES
Square Shoulder Center Latch Elevator (SSC Type)
Like
all Varco products, the 100 and 150 ton SSC Elevators are distinguished
by their innovative design, engineering excellence and metallurgical
quality. These elevators are characterized by features which improve
crew efficiency and reduce fatigue.
Pipe can be stabbed straight into the SSC elevator. Varco's narrow
profile latch design provides a wide, clear opening without obstruction,
allowing crews to work more quickly.
Lifting and closing the Varco elevator requires a fraction of the
force needed to lift the close other elevators, because the SSC is so
well balanced.
An oversized hinge pin provides maximum distribution of load to
minimize wear. All elevators are fully API rated. To assure individual
quality, each elevator is pull-tested to 1 1/2 times rated load and then
magnetic particle inspected before shipment.
The Varco SSC elevator is available in three frame sizes and can
handle tubular goods ranging in size from 2 3/8 thru 8 5/8 inches.

Square Shoulder Side Door Elevator (SSD Type)
A
range of models are available to handle drill collar sizes from 6 3/4
thru 11 1/4 inches OD and casing sizes from 6 5/8 to 20 1/2 inches OD.
Varco Elevators hang at less of an angle than other elevators. This
means that they require far less effort to lift and close, reducing crew
fatigue and improving performance. Drill Collar or casing can be
stabbed directly into Varco elevators and the tool's narrow profile
latch design provides a wide, clear opening, without obstruction.
All Varco elevators are fully API Rated and meet Varco's tough standards for quality, and rugged dependability.

SJC
are available in models to handle casing sizes from 6 5/8 to 20 1/2
inches OD. Varco's tough standards for metallurgical quality and rugged
