RSBAQF heat shrink cable jointing kits for telecom cables are fiber reinforced heat shrink closures designed for the protection of cable joints for the pressurized telecom cables network
The heat shrink cable joint mainly consists of a heat shrink, reinforced and wraparound sleeve and a wrap-around metal canister/cardboard liner
The heat shrink sleeve is a reinforced composite laminate
The heat shrink sleeve is internally coated with a flexible heat adhesive which will melt and adhere to the cable to form an air and water tight seal
The wrap-around metal canister/cardboard liner protects the cable joints from moisture vapor transmission
The white line inside of the trajectory and the temperature-sensitive paint on the heat shrink sleeve can lead a good and right operation
The heat shrink cable jointing kits can be used on polyethylene, lead, steel and aluminum jacketed cables for straight cable joints and branch cable joints up to three telecom cables out on each side
The kit also contains a range of fully interchangeable air fittings which can be incorporated in the closure
