Gantry Crane for Shipbuilding is used for loading and discharging cargos from ships. It is suitable at various of ports with the help of hook, hanger, grab, container spreader etc.

 

The structure of shipbuilding gantry crane has single and double girder types. The single girder type is usually favored when large lifting capacity and span is required. Its main composing systems are gantry frame, up trolley, lower trolley, and bridge traveling mechanism, maintenance crane, lubrication, elevator and electrical equipment, it can be equipped with some other devices such as rail clamp (or wheel brake), anchoring device, and limit switches in each mechanism and other safety device. Crane traveling deviation adapting system may be applied when a large span is wanted. Main features of gantry crane:

1. The complete machine is convenient to be dismounted and assembled.

The transportation cost is relatively low. It is safe and reliable in operation and has pleasing appearance.

2.  Main lifting mechanism: reasonable design, traveling dynamics adopts enclosed design, and the output shaft of reducer which has been machined special is equipped with upper and lower lifting limit device to ensure the safety and stability of the lifting process.

3.  Main girder: adopting triangular space truss detached pin-connected main girder. All girders adopt tooling fabrication and will not set camber. Having better stability and stronger rigidity comparing with tetragonal truss steel construction main girder. Meanwhile, the main girder itself is provided with overhead crane travel track, which saves customer substantive acquisition cost and human resources.

4.  Traveling crane: pleasing appearance, adopting cyclical needle wheel reducer completely, having longer service life, lower noise and better safety reliability comparing with JQG type reducer.

5.  Operation control device: all adopting centralized electric control push button operation, suitable for single machine control and online control. Has been clicked times.
