The cabin is a device that controls the hydro-actuated choke manifold. It performs remote control over the hydro-actuated choke valves, opening or closing them. A dashboard displays the switch position of these chock valves, and pressure in the standpipes and the casing.  If equipped with a pump stroke counter, it can show pump strokes and frequencies of three mud pumps. This controlling device is a indispensable item to maintain bottom hole pressure balance, and to check well kick and blowout.
