GPY series disc filter mainly used for the flotation of clean coal with sized 0~0.5mm and dehydration of fine grain material with waste coal, etc. It is also used for the solid-liquid separation in fields of metallurgy, chemistry, petroleum and sewage treatment.
Working Principle:
The filtering procedure of disc filter is: under the pressure difference formed by the vacuum pump, there is filter cake formed on the filter cloth and the liquid phase is discharged through the filter cake and filter cloth, thus the liquid is separated from the solid. And then the filter cake is transmitted to the drying area, where most of the water is discharged and then it moves to the dropping area. Part of the filter cake is dropped under the compressed air blowing of the air blower. The rest filter cake is scrapped by the scrapper.
Main Features:
1. The driving device is of compact structure, reliable operation and stepless speed regulating.
2. It is equipped with torque-limited coupling as an overload protector, which secures the safety and reliable operation of the main machine.
3. The central shaft is of welding structure, which has light weight, good rigidity, high strength and high filter liquid discharging. The bearing bush is made of SF compound material, which is light and wear-resisting.
4. It applies new type star-point plastic sector plate, which is light and of high-strength, good hydrophobic property, high porosity, effective dehydration and cake discharging, low filter cake moisture, long working life, corrosion resisting and easy installation and maintenance.
5. The filter fabric is made of stainless steel wire. And it is of good filtering effect, low filter cake moisture, effective cake discharging and long working life.
6. It applies paddle mixer and floating sealing feeding hopper, making the mixer shaft can float in a certain manner, which has good sealing effect and the seal is easy to replace.
7. It applies not only the instant air blowing and suspended scraper, having high cake discharging rate (reach to more than 90%). And the scraper can swing with the filter disc, thus the disc if of good stress condition, which reduces the main machine load.
8.Apart from the above mentioned advantages, the GPY20-120 series product also has the advantage that the foundation size and the discharging port are designed according to PG products, which makes it very easy to reform the old plant and replace the equipments.
