Wear-resisting Steel Liner for Large Size AG Mill Shell
Steel Shell Liner Introduction:
The Special Steel Plant of CITIC-IC Luoyang Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd (the former Special Steel CITIC-HMC Luoyang Industry and Commerce Co., Ltd) is a manufacturing enterprise directly subordinated to CITIC-IC Luoyang Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. Inside of the corperation, as a division, we mainly supply for CITIC Heavy Industries Co., Ltd with wear-resisting casting parts for crushing and grinding equipments and the main shaft bushing, trunnion mill liner of all specifications. We also supply such parts for other customer.

Our Equipments for Liner manufacturing:

The special steel plant now owns electric smelting furnace, 2×5 m2  high temperature gas burning heat treatment furnace with automatic control, 1.5×4 m2 high temperature gas burning heat treatment furnace, 2×5 m2 specialized gas burning hot blast stove for tempering, 1.3×1.6 m2 medium temperature electric heating furnace, 350 ton water quenching pool, 50 ton FEROQUENCH-2000 quenching cooling system, DF-100 direct-reading spectrometer, MLD-10 dynamic load wear testing machine and numbers of other auxiliary production equipment. Our annual wear-resisting casting parts output reach to more than 5000 tons.

Inspection system:

In order to provide the customer with satisfactory products and service, we have built a sophisticated interior quality assurance system. To ensure the liquid steel quality, we applied 4-level joint inspection: sample submitting inspection by the smelting process member, chemical analyst inspection in the control laboratory, random check by the inspector from technical department and inspection by the CITIC Heavy Industries Co., Ltd measurement test center, to control the chemical composition; and we also do liquid steel purification treatment in the ladle. In the process of heat treatment, the automatic controlled and 4-point temperature controlled high temperature gas burning heat treatment furnace and the favourable thermotechnical condition of hot blast circulation tempering furnace fully assure the uniform products heating and the controllability of the heat temperature. In the heat treatment cooling process, we select the FEROQUENCH-2000 quenching medium as the cooling medium, which totally eliminates the bad quenching quality caused by the quenching oil aging in traditional process. All the above are the strong backup of our best products quality.

In years of production practice, we have not only accumulated rich practical experience, but also combined with scientific research institute inside and outside the company and developed a variety of new products. Currently, we can manufacture low carbon multielement low alloy steel series, medium carbon multielement low alloy steel series, medium carbon multielement medium alloy steel series, high-carbon multielement high alloy steel series, high manganese steel series, ultra-high manganese steel series and high chrome casting iron series.etc.
