Iron Ore Rod Mill Application:
As with other types of mills, a rod mill is used to grind material into fine powder, but differs from a ball mill in that it employs long steel rods instead of balls as the grinding medium. The mill length is limited by manufacturing constraints for the grinding rods. Rod mills are typically used for grinding ores, coal/coke, and other materials for both wet and dry applications.
