Faraday Isolator is the device that allows the passage of light travelling in one direction, while blocking light that propagates in the opposite direction. It consists of a Faraday rotator(designed with a rotation angle of 45°) and two polarizers whose axes are aligned to maximum transmission. Faraday Isolators are often used inside the cavities of high power lasers. Counter-propagating beams travel in a closed loop through the cavity and their interaction with the gain medium leads to gain saturation.
Faraday Isolator has two types, including Polarization Sensitive and Polarization Insensitive, or Free Space optical Isolator and In-line fiber Isolator.
We can supply you with large aperture free space Faraday optical isolator for high power laser system. The main specification is as follows:
Aperture:

Central Wavelength:
532nm, 632.8nm, 650nm, 780nm, 850nm, 980nm, 1053nm, 1064nm
1. Rotating Angle: 45°±1
2. Transmission: >92%
3. Isolation: >30 dB
4. Damage Threshold: 5 J/cm2 1064nm at 10ns
