It is disigned to prevent refrigerant contamination in heating and refrigeration cycle system. It effectively prevent the contaminants in one direction flowing back when the system having a reversible flow, and removes moisture & acids during the refrigeration & heating cycles.
Meanwhile this design saves two outer valves and two normal filter driers, making the lines easier and lower the cost.
