BHDM series electronic densitometer works on basis of the principle of vibration frequency variation in different media what filled fully in U shape pipe for measuring the media density. The micro processor shall process the measured data from the sensor mounted in the resonator with quick, direct and high precision features. The unit consists of double tuning fork sensor, circuit of vibration cylinder, temperature measurement circuit, CPU, display screen, constant temperature chute, filling pump and control panel. Combined with various density converting software the direct reading of concentration of various liquid is available. Such as alcohol, may be processed by single-chip processor software to read out directly the data of volume concentration, making the test more convenient.
2. Functions:
1. Constant temperature control: For the reason of the impacts of temperature to the density of liquid therefore the measured density shall be converted into the density at 20º C. But in herein device the temperature of the constant temperature chute shall be controlled within the range of 20º C± 0.1º C and the sensor as well as the sample liquid enclosed in the chute, the single-chip processor and the sensor for resonator shall be engaged for the temperature control. So that the error and the complication of the conversion can be avoided and the precision, stability and repeat can be guaranteed(the constant temperature chute can be custom-built. ). Double bladders are arranged for constant temperature control with better seal and stability.
2. Direct reading of density for 20º C of liquid and indication of temperature: The single -chip processor work out the density of liquid on basis of the mathematic model of frequency to liquid density of sensor and the measured frequency of vibration, then carry out the floating-point mathematics for avoiding the extra error caused by the insufficient precision. The digital reading of density calculated by the processor is displayed and the temperature display also available.
3. Automatic sampling: Creep pump controlled by the single-chip processor and driven by stepping motor make the system running at high level of automation.
4. Free remainder treatment arrangement: The remainder of liquid on the inner wall of the resonator tube after liquid flow may impact the precision of measurement therefore the free remainder treatment to the inner wall of the resonating tube can guarantee the precision of the device.
5. Acid and alkali resistant pipe: The entire pipe contacting the liquid shall be acid and alkali resistant pipe for application of acid or alkali liquid.
6. Data storing: In-built memory chip for storing 80 groups of measured data, the recall and delete function are available.
7. Subsidiary function: Special software is available for reading of liquid concentration at various temperatures as per client' s application.
8. Clalibration: The device can be calibrated with pure water at 20º C for correct its shifting caused of long time off -position which is not available in normal glass densitometer.
