Ferro silicon is iron alloy composed of iron and silicon that made of coke, steel scrap, quartz (or silica) by iron smelting furnace.  It is commonly used as a reductant in ferroalloy production and chemical industry. In iron industry it often used as inoculant and nodulizer and deoxidize.
