PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
-
- TII developed T-1501 High voltage murray loop employing solid state technologies to give very accurate % distance to the following faults.
-
- Earth Fault.
- High resistive cable faults (shunts) (constant leakage).
-
T-1501 is a portable, battery-powered instrument. The above mentioned faults which can not be detected by pulse refection method.
-
T-1501 operates on the principle of Murray loop & can be used with bride supply D.C. voltage up to 5 K.V.
-
T-1501 measure the distance of the fault from the point of operation to the point of fault of the total length of cable, via calibrated dial and indicates in%.
-
T-1501 is not suitable for pre-location of low/high resistance flash over or intermittent faults.
-
T-510 Refectometer with T-1005, T-1016, T-1020 & T-1032 surge generators is suitable for high resistance or intermittent faults.
Note: For flashing faults Murray Loop is not suitable. Use Reflectometer T-510 for such faults.
