Specifications

Upward Continuous Casting is new process of production for long length bright oxygen-free copper rod. It has the characteristic of high conductivity, low oxygen content etc. After being further processed, these rod can be used as conduct material of electrical wire and cable, magnetism wire and enameled wire, and also can be used in other electronic, electric products.

Ⅰ. Process flow

Cathode→Melting furnace→Holding furnace→Caster(to crystal into rod)→Coiler→Sell or deeply process

Cathode is charged into composite furnace and be molten under cover of charcoal. After melting, the molten copper will flow into holding furnace reposefully by way of transition chamber and also molten copper has a stable reduction process. The molten copper in holding furnace is covered by natural flake graphite or charcoal and the temperature can be measured by thermal-couple and displayed on large and small screen. By adjusting the input power of furnace conductor, operator can control temperature of molten copper. 

Casting machine adopts 4-screw type, it located above holding furnace. Coolers are fixed on the two sides of installation plate of caster, the dies fixed at lower end are immerged into molten copper for a certain depth.

Two sets of traction roller are driven by synchronized belt. Copper rods are pressed by pneumatic cylinder. One machine can produce two different standard rods since the two sets of transmission structure are driven separately.

A position tracking device of casting machine can move up and down according the height of molten copper’s surface.

After getting out from traction structure, copper rod will be guided into coiler by way of guide device, coiler limitation device. Coiler works according to the signal from coiler limitation device. Coiler will works discontinuously since the speed of coiler is faster than coiler.
