SSOC series of wind field 12kV & 40.5kV outdoor AC high voltage drop-out fuse cutout is a kind of overload protection device, which is most suitable for using in wind field, power station, etc. It is installed on the high voltage side of distribution transformer or distribution wire pole. The device is used in transformer & line, for short-circuit protection, overload protection and load current on/off.

Firstly, insulator, upper & lower fixed parts, installation structure & material have been improved to avoid that the product's shaking leads to fuse tube false dropout. In the meanwhile, the installation angle is adjusted to horizontal from 15~30°.
Secondly, the contact way of moving contact & fixed contact has been improved. Concerning the common product, usually, its upper conductive plate contacts with the dome by compression spring pressure, which in bad whether will easily cause false dropout because of shaking, spring non-effect, conductive part too hot, etc. Therefore, except the common way the bayonet coupling contact way is also added, with these two ways it can stand a wind of 50m/s.
Finally, the operation and installation method have been optimized, the normal off/on operation is the same with common fuse cutout, but when it dropouts, only the moving contact fixed in fuse tube will dropout, the upper contact & upper conductive plate will still keep in touch, because the moving contact is nested with upper contact. Therefore, it should drop down the upper contact with insulated rod before replacing the fuse link
