Delivery Condition: EAF / ESR, Hot Rolled /Hot Forged, Turned Surface /Black Surface, Annealed
Characteristics:
1: It is a kind of High Carbon and High Chromium Cold Work Tool Steel which was maturely applied in the world. It belongs to the scope of ledeburitic steel.
2: It has very high hardenability and abrasive resistance, good oxidation resistance in high temperature, good resistance to rust after quenching and polishing, and low deformation of heat treatment.
3: Vacuum degassed, ladle refined, high cleaness.
4: Good machining property after softening process of spheroidizing.
5: With mixture of reinforced chemical element: Vanadium or Molybdenum, it has excellent abrasive resistance
Application:
1: Used to produce various kinds of high precision, long life cycle cold work moulds, tools and gauges.
2: Used to produce stamping dies, cold extrusion dies, roll threading gears, threading plates, cold sharing tools and high precision gauges with complicate sharp.
Heat Treatment:
Annealing Temperature: 800 - 850 °C
Annealing Hardness: Max. 250 HB
Destressing Temperature: 650 - 700 °C
Hot Forming Temperature: 1050 - 850 °C
Quenching Temperature: 1020 - 1080 °C
Quenching Media: Oil Quenching, Salt bath( 220 - 250 °C or 500 - 550 °C ),air or compressing air.
Quenching Hardness: 63 - 65 HRC
