The instrument is used for test the Cleveland Open Cup flash & fire point as per ASTM D92, ISO2592, IP36, GB /T3536 <Standard Test Method for Flash Point of Petroleum Products (Cleveland Open Cup Method)>, except oil fuel and samples whose open cup flash point is below 79 °C.
