Description & Application
 

PVS2-12 outdoor pole-mounted HV vacuum load break switch uses vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber to extinguish arc, with no danger of explosion and no need of overhaul. The isolation knife of the electrical load break switch makes parallel connection with three-pole vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber, with good on-off operating simultaneity; and when it is off, there is a reliable isolating breaking point, with the same function to disconnector. It is suitable for substation, industrial and mining enterprises for urban & rural network as protection and control, as well as urban and rural automatic distribution network and the sites for frequent operation.

Material
 

Main parts of vacuum load switch are made of stainless steel, while its bracket uses stainless steel or hot galvanizing and ultravoiolet ray-proof coating followed for the effective prevention of corrosion and rust, ensuring the normal conduction of switchgear under outdoor conditions. Switch knife uses pressure spring, ensuring enough pressure, contributing to the convenient operation and the reliability of on-off operation. The load break switch opens/closes under rated load voltage, with no requirement of 2-time protection device connection.
