PMC Polymer Cementitious Waterproofing Coating
Product Features
Joaboa PMC Polymer Cementitious Waterproofing Coating is a kind of waterproofing emulsion, which consists of polymer latex as main raw materials and various additives.
During construction, mix PMC with cement uniformly at fixed rate first, then to brush. After the coating getting dry, it will form into waterproofing membrane that firmly adhere to substrates, being featured with some elasticity, high seepage resistance and good weatherability as well.
It is environment-friendly, non-toxic, pollution-free, and easy to use.
Points for Attention
The proportioned mixture should be used up within 30mins.
Make sure the environment temperature above 5℃ while applying.
It can be diluted by water but can’t exceed 10% of the emulsion.
Construction Requirement
Substrate requirements: It must be clean, firm, leveled (without calendaring), no dust and oil. Defects like honeycomb and cracks should be repaired first. Internal & external corners need to camber. And dry substrates should be moistened.
Primer Treatment: Mix emulsion with water at the weight ratio of 1:1, then brush the mixture on the substrates.
Proportioning of waterproofing coating: Weigh materials as emulsion/cement=1/0.8(type I) or 1/1.2 (typeⅡ),or 1:2 (type Ⅲ). Stir the mixture to be uniform, fine and without aggregate structure before using.
Application: Brush the proportioned mixture on the base uniformly by 2-3 times until reaches the design thickness. Application interval replies on the drying time of the prior coating film. And per coating film should not exceed 0.8mm.
Storage and Transportation
Storage: Should be sealed and stored in warehouses, keeping ventilated and shady. Keep away from fire. Guarantee period is 6 months.
Transportation: Prevent from sun, rain and fire source. Avoid collision and keep the packing intact.
Application Scope
Applicable to the waterproofing projects of roofs, basements, exterior walls, kitchens and pools.
