Product Introduction:

What is vacuum cooling?

Vacuum cooling.  The product is placed in a vacuum so that the
atmospheric pressure around the product is reduced. This reduces the
water vapor pressure around the product, and when the pressure is
lowered below that inside of the product, water evaporates from the
product.  This in turn lowers the surface temperature of the product.

Vacuum Cooling features
Advantages
● Cools large volumes and weights of produce rapidly
● Uniform temperature easily obtained
● Optional moisture enhancement systems can reduce weight loss
● Sanitizing agents can be incorporated in moisture enhancement systems
● High volume users can achieve low unit costs with correctly matched equipment

Why COLDMAX Vacuum Cooler ?

COLDMAX offer custom designed vacuum cooling 1 pallet to 20 pallet, Industrial equipment, energy efficient, quality components Computer controlled, Single button push to start cycle.
1-20 pallets, 1 pallet wide, 2 pallets wide x multiple depth. Rectangular to minimize dead air space and fit the pallet shape Trailer mounted, or skid mounted, or landing gear attached once the unit arrives on site. Micro-controlled, a single button starts the cycle, a pulp probe is inserted into the product to read current temperature, Cycle ends on product temperature. Use High quality vacuum pumps and refrigeration compressors and refrigeration components. Designed as an industrial refrigeration system. Use Ammonia, R404a and other refrigerants. Ammonia and R404a are the most efficient to operate. We use either evaporative condensers or shell and tube, with a cooling tower. Components cycle on and off as needed, reduced energy costs. No full time operator needed.
Systems are pre-wired, pre piped, pressure tested, and power side tested. The systems require a single point power and water feed. 380V 50hz, 220- 230, 440-460V 60 hz, 575V 60 hz power is typical.

Chambers are steel, painted or Stainless steel. Structural steel shapes used, 3/8" plate thickness for vacuum components.
Door opening manually or hydraulic automatic. up and over the top, straight up, or swing left or right.

Refrigeration systems use flooded coils with mounted surge drum above. Critically charged system. Capable of operating at full range of system operation. Refrigeration coil located outside the chamber inside a vacuum tight 3/8" thick plate enclosure to increase efficiency.

System designed based on product weight, type or product, entering and leaving temperature, pallet or bin size, and location in the world the systems is to be used refrigerant type and power available.
