Advantages of the PEEK bar and pipe

PEEK bar and pipe have high strength, high modulus, high fracture toughness, and excellent dimensional stability.

PEEK pipes can maintain a high strength at a high temperature. Its bending strength can reach about 24 Mpa at 200℃. The flexural strength and compressive strength can still maintain 12~13 Mpa at 250℃.

PEEK resin has greater rigidity, good dimensional stability, and low linear expansion coefficient which is very close to aluminum. With the excellent chemical resistance, in the usual chemicals, only the concentrated sulfuric acid can dissolve or destroy it. Its corrosion resistance is similar to nickel steel. Because of the flame retardant, it can reduce smoke and toxic gases under fire condition. Also, it has strong radiation resistance.

PEEK pipes have good toughness, and the most outstanding fatigue resistance compared with the other plastics.

PEEK has outstanding abrasion performance, excellent resistance to sliding wear and fretting wear, especially can maintain a higher wear resistance and a lower coefficient of friction at 250℃.
