Codes & color temperatures

Fluorescent tubes have a code, stating the power of the lamp as well as the colour. The latter code consists of three digits, of which the first states the so-called colour rendering index (CRI), and the last two digits state the colour temperature. For example, code 840 means colour index between 80 and 89 (which is good, 100 is maximum) and colour temperature 4000 K (white light).

The LEDyou T5 products are fitted with Philips TL5 tubes with colour temperatures of choice:

830 - warm white / good colour rendering
840 - daylight / good colour rendering
865 - cool daylight / good colour rendering
