Silica sand/quartz sand 

Silica is a milkwhite or translucent silicate minerals which is hard,wear resistant and stable, 
the main ingredient of which is silicon dioxide. Most silica sand is made up of broken down
 quartz crystals. Silica is another name for silicon dioxide, SiO2, of which quartz is a specific 
latticed structure.
