ND-A81

This product is colorless to light yellow resin, with anti-yellowing property and granular appearance. It can be used in solvent based coatings, solvent based ink, non-solvent based coatings, water based coatings, powder coatings, resin modification and other areas. Its properties improve film yellowing resistance, shorten the drying time and reduce VOC emissions. The price is 30% lower than the similar foreign products, especially the universal colorants cost can be reduced by more than 50%. The similar foreign products can not comparable to ND-A81 in the adaptation of low-level solvent. The performance of the product has reached and exceeded similar foreign products.

★ Universal Pigment Paste:
ND-A81 has universal solubility, excellent compatibility and polarity. For this reason, ND-A81 is very well suitable to be a carrier resin in pigment paste. With a proper use of dispersant, ND-A81 can enhance adhesion and reduce losses during storage, enlarge the application range of paint pigments, in the shortest possible time to launch paint finishes into the market. The cost could be reduced by 30% or more compared to the foreign similar products (The content of universal colorants ND-A81 resin should be adjusted according to different requirements, the proportion could be 30% -60%).
 

★ Content of the paint:
In some coatings, the high content of ND-A81 resin will affect the paint adhesion, flexibility, or fastness to light. The content usually is 5% -15%, the maximum shall not exceed 20%, if there are special requirements, the formulation can be adjusted accordingly. It can be added 5% for the use of addictive in coating and ink.
 

★ Application:
※ For the manufacture of automotive refinishes paint, it can improve gloss and hardness, reduce drying time. The adding amount is 2% -5%.
※ For the manufacture of alkyd resins, it can lower viscosity of alkyd resins, improve gloss and hardness, reduce drying time. In the final synthesis stage, the content could be 2% - 5% (according to alkyd resin solids content calculation).
※ As modifying component in amino-alkyd baking paint: it can improve hardness and fullness. Partial replacement of up to 20% of the alkyd resins accordingly with quality requirements.

※ As modifying component in nitro coating: to improve the resistance to UV and yellowing, improve gloss and develop pigment binding capacity and tolerance. Usage: partial replacement from 20% to 30% of cellulose nitrate.
※ As modifying component in alkyd/chloride coating: to improve compatibility between chloride resin (especially chlorine ether and chlorinated rubber) and alkyd resin, improve gloss and solids content. Usage: partial replacement of up to 10% of alkyd/chlorinated resin.※ For the manufacture of hot melt road making paint (compared to petroleum resin-based hot melt road making paint) It has good adhesion for substrates, less titanium dioxide in the white paint and improve fastness to light. Usage: 1. ND-A81 can be used alone as the base material; 2. Used with petroleum resin.
※ For the manufacture of powder coating: improvement of flow due to low melt viscosity, improve adhesion to substrate. Usage: In the epoxy powder coatings, partial replacement from 5% to 15% with reactive resins.
