Typical Usage:
Prawn/ Shrimp Shell are collected from the sea-food IQF processing lines.
Our products are 100% sun dried and ready as raw material for production of Chitin, Chitosan, Glucosamine and animal feed.
Chitin from shrim shells is suitable for analysis of chitinase. It is a polysaccharide composed of N-acetyl-D-glucosamine.
Chitin may be used as a viscosity/ thickening agent or binder.
