Solenoid Coil

Solenoid coil is a kind of important tool for generating magnetic field, it has the advantages of simple structure, convenient use, the magnetic field in the axial direction after power on, and the magnetic field keeps the everlasting linear relationship with electric current, when length has a larger proportion with diameter, it has good homogeneity near the magnetic field center, and the larger the ratio is,  the wider the uniform area will be, it is very suitable for the straight long sample magnetization. Multilayer solenoid can increase the magnetic field strength, the stronger magnetic field is, the stronger the power would be. Heat dissipation should be considered when long time use, even the protective action of electromagnetic force should be considered.

The following DXSL20-300 solenoid is customized for one of customer:

Parameters

1. DXSL20-300 Soleoid Coil:

DC center magnetic field: 300Gs

Even magnetic field space: 25*Φ25mm3

Uniformity: better than 0.5%

It can work continuously for 0.5 hour at 300Gs

 

2. The coil will be built to accept 50V/2A @110V US current power supply to achieve maximum 300 gauss.

4. The center pipe is made from PC, inside diameter 40mm and outside diameter 50mm.

 

5. The pipe needs to have the ends to be 5 inches longer than the solenoid body at each end.

 

6. The center pipe ends need to fit to standard US 40mm PVC pipe connections

 

7. Put 36 inch long DC power leads into the solenoid with black (negative -) and red (positive +) wires.

 

8. With a simple overheating protection device, which can shut down the coil when overheating occurs and restart automatically.
