Oil-injected screw air compressor features:  

l The compressor is designed for Asian high temperature and high relative humidity ambient. It can operate under max. 46 oC ambient temperature. To water-cooled machine, 46 oC cooling water is also available. 

 

l The special designed after-cooler makes temperature of compressed air is only 8 oC higher than ambient or cooling water (CTD 8 oC).

 

l The airend is connected with timing gear directly with high transmission efficiency and high reliability. This structure makes driven chain good sealing and prevents it from dust entrance. 

 

l All airends are designed and produced by Ingersoll-rand to ensure the strict quality control. Rotor adopts AISI-C-1141 forged steel and is produced by the most advanced processing machines. Its high-efficiency and unsymmetrical line is made by unique two-step fine processing way.

 

l Ingersoll-Rand utilizes SKF bearings or equivalent in airend. Back-to-back arranged taper 

 

roller bearings are located in exhaust port and column roller bearings are located in 

 

suction port. The roller bearings can bear radial and axial thrust to prolong the overhaul period. On the other hand there is lubricant sump in air end to prevent the machine from dry friction at start up.

 

l Cooling dam at the airend bearing gather oil when compressor shut down, which avoid dry friction at the moment of start and lengthen life-span of bearing further (otherwise there should be 6~7 seconds dry friction).

 

l The oil level indicator, safety valve and minimum pressure valve are installed on the oil/gas separator tank. The separation system adopts secondary back-flow separation technology to centrifuge, congeal, and hold back. The large area thick ruffled element to make oil flow slower to improve separation and prolong separation element lifetime.

 

l The easily operated patented Intellisys S3 intelligent microcomputer controller, which can pre-set parameters, with LCD panel and membrane touch button is used in screw air compressor. The controller can indicate all kinds of parameters, warning, alter and reason of shutdown. It also has the ability of self-diagnosis, alarm, monitor and memorization reason of shutdown and part of fault. User also can control the compressors by local, remote or inter-lock. 2 units of compressor can be inter-locked. The standard Modbus interface is used for remote signal or user DCS system connection, for more machines shall automatically start while compressed air consumption fluctuates.

 

l Main electric motors all adopts motors special for compressors and adopt imported bearing. Compressor torque and load requirements meet designed standards which makes motors reach the peak of mechanical efficiency and power rate in full load. F insulation, temperature increasing adopts B grade examine to ensure stable lifespan of high-efficiency motors. Designed speed, torque and operating parameters all meet load requirement of compressors. Motor efficiency and power rate have reached the best extent, can meet the air need of IR series compressors.

 

l The Ultra Coolant has been pre-filled in factory. The lifetime of Ultra Coolant is 8,000 hours/2 years. The perfect separation characteristic also decreases oil carryover. Its good heat conduction lower compressor air end temperature.

 

l Airend, motor and oil/gas separator are installed on a common plate through vibration isolators to eliminate vibration transmission to ground. Because screw compressor is a kind of rotary machine, there is no pulsation in compressed air stream. It is not necessary to built concrete fundament build-in fittings thanks to stable operation, non-vibration.
