Nitride barrel. 38CrMoAlA Alloy Steel. Nitride thickness is 0.024" to 0.028" (0.6 to 0.7mm). Surface hardness: HV 740-940. Screw designed by experience and computer aided engineering (CAE) software so that it delivers maximum output, uniform mixture, minimum temperature variation and degradation. Conical screw design provides large output, natural compression along screw, low shear and homogeneous melt and mixing, etc. Counter-rotating, intermeshed twin screws also provide excellent conveying for fluffy materials, such as wood flour; control of melt temperature with less shearing and good degassing. Inside screw cooling and oil heating can keep the screw inside temperature constant to avoid degradation. |
