S32906 duplex stainless steel seamless pipe for urea production

Generally introduction

UNS S32906 is a highly corrosion resistant material specially developed for the Stamicarbon urea process. Suitable for the severe conditions in urea production, tubes in S32906 are designed to enable an oxygenless process that increases output and safety.

It is now a standard material for urea production and has effectively replaced X2CrNiMoN 25 22 2.

UNS S32906 eliminates all known active forms of corrosion that occur in the urea plant, thanks to its superior mechanical properties and improved processing (like welding).
