Property
It is clear liquid, free from suspended matter and with pungent odor. It can be
dissolved in water, ethanol, glycerol and ethyl ether, but not in carbon
disulfide. Specific gravity: 1.049; freezing point: 16.7℃; boiling point:
118 ℃;flash point (in closed cup): 39 ℃; refraction index: 1.3718; autoignition point: 427 ℃.

Use
It is one of the most important organic materials. It is mainly used in the
manufacture of vinyl acetate, acetic anhydride, diketen, acetic ester, acetate,
ethyl cellulose and chloro acetic acid. It can also be used in the field of
synthetic fiber, binding agent, pharmacy, fertilizer and dyeing as raw
material, and in the field of plastic, rubber and printing as organic solvent.

Quality standard
The product has been certified by the quality management system. It abides by
the national standard GB/T 1628-2008, and its main indexes are better than
those for best grade product. Its best grade product rates 100%. It is approved
by national measurement management system and conforms to the ASTM
D3620-1994(04) standard.

Packing, transportation and storage
This product should be packed into containers like stainless steel or aluminum
tanker or plastic drum.
The packing container shall be clean and dry, and shall be gently handled to
prevent any collision during transportation and loading/unloading.
It should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated and dry place, away from
solarization, flame source and heat source; and should not be stored together
with alkali substances.
