Specifications
disodium hydrogen phosphate DSP na2hpo4.12h20
Molecular Formula: Na2HPO4?nH2O (n=0,n=12)
Molecular weight: 141.96(n =0), 357.96(n =12)
Executive Standard: GB 25568-2010(Food Grade) HG/T2965-2009(Technical Grade )
Properties:
The dodecahydrate is white crystal with relative density 1.52, weathered in the air easily, losing quinque-molecular crystallization water easily, forming anhydride after losing crystallization water at 100°C, decomposing to sodium pyrophosphate at 50°C; anhydride is white powder with hygroscopy. Both are easily soluble in water, aqueous solution is slightly alkaline, alcohols insoluble.
Uses:
Boiler water softening agent, fire retardant agent of textile, wood and paper, glaze and welding agent; used to produce detergent, printing cleaner and dye mordant; hydrogen peroxide bleaching stabilizer in printing and dyeing industry, rayon filling (increasing the intensity and elasticity); raw material for producing sodium pyrophosphate and other phosphate, cultured agent for gourmet, erythrocin, penicillin, streptomycin and sewage treatment equipment; also used in electroplating and tanning.
