The Ultra Motor Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor (BBTS) is an electromechanical device that measures a rider's physiological input to a pedelec. The measurement of the rider's input is used to control the power output from the pedelec's propulsion system. This feature and control methodology is required by regulatory agencies in key market areas worldwide. The Ultra Motor BBTS replaces the conventional bottom bracket in the bicycle.
