Dispersant- 5040(compact): Quality dispersant for quality paints & coatings

Dispersant- 5040 (compact) is sodium salt of polycarboxylic acid. It is low foaming dispersant in solution form with excellent dispersion property for a variety of inorganic pigments & clays effective with aqueous system.

Degree to which the pigment particles are dispersed is a major factor in the quality and stability of the finished paint.
Functioning of Dispersant- 5040(compact) is based on its ability to keep pigment particles apart by surrounding them with a strong anionic charge so that separated particles get wetted by water easily. Presence of Dispersant- 5040(compact) in formulation results in decrease of larger pigment aggregates within dry paint film which enhances paint properties like opacity, tinting strength & gloss.
