1. General Scope
EMT CO., LTD. Automatic Line Sectionalizers are three-phase devices that automatically open all three phases simultaneously for either phase or ground faults. They are to protect electrical distribution systems by isolating automatically faulted section in conjunction with automatic recloser to minimize SAIDI and SAIFI. Combined with the recloser, EMT sectionalizer detects and counts fault current. After pre-determined number of interruption current, EMT Sectionalizer is able to trip automatically, isolating the faulted section. In addition, EMT Sectionlaizer is able to prevent miscounting or malfunction caused by Inrush current by Inrush restrain function. There are SF6 Gas type, Oil or polymer type Insulated EMT Sectionalizer.
