Brief Introduction:

Our silos are widely used in storing grain (such as wheat, corn, maize, rice, paddy, malt, barley, soybean, etc.), seeds, feeds, flour, plastic pellet (such as PP Pellet, PA Pellet, PVC Pellet),wooden pellet, etc;

 

We could calculate, design, manufacture and install grain silo system according to customer requirements. The silo capacity ranges from 10Ton to 10000Ton. All silos are made of hot dip galvanized steel sheets with 275g/m2 galvanized coating.

 

1,       What's the application of hopper bottom silo ?

Our bolted hopper bottom steel silo is used to store grain, seed, feed, cement, coal and other granular or powdered materials. Popular uses for our product include, Temporary Transit, Raw Material, and Grain warehouses. Current applications of the Bolted Steel Silo is to  provide  efficient and affordable storage solutions for grain warehousing, alcohol plant, flourmill, oil mill, starch factory, feed mill, malt factory, distilleries, seaport, farm, and grain-processing centers, etc.(Grain including: Wheat /corn /soybean /sorghum /buckwheat /cereal /paddy /millet /bran /rice /peas /beans /rapeseeds /beet seeds /peanut /rye)

2,       What's the features of this hopper bottom silo?

1)     The bottom of silo is made of steel hopper, and supported by H beam which is one of the most widely used steel ball in the design and production of steel structure recently, with high structure stability .

2)     Hopper bottom steel silo are famous for its automatic discharging process. There is one steel cone on the bottom of the silo, so ,the grain inside silos could unload automatically due to gravity, and very efficient, grain can flow out from the silo, without need power.

3)     From long run, it can save your cost, it doesn't need power. And because of this advantage, price is higher than flat bottom silo.

4)     2 kinds of angle-45 degree and 60 degree, among which the 60 degree conical-bottom is usually used to store larger pellet and powdered materials of high viscosity.

4)  The silo roof and body is made of corrugated hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, 275g/m2 coating galvanizing.

5)  Hopper bottom steel silo capacity is for 50t-1250tons.

6)  The hopper bottom silo is easy for wheat discharge from silo naturally by wheat gravity . So this will save the sweep to empty silo compared with flat bottom silo

3,       What's the advantages of this silo ?

1). Lower basic cost with lightweight, low request for foundation, low consumption of steel.

2). High degree of standardization. We can produce the standard components which can be installed on-the-spot.

3). Simple, easy and efficient to install within a short amount of time due to

superior component design which are connected by standard bolts.

4). Easy to understand . The bolted silo is equipped with relevant accessories, such as: conveyor, ventilation, drying and monitoring devices, etc. to ensure the quality and safety of the material stored in the silo.

5). Easy to maintain. As the parts of the silo are connected by standard bolts, so it is easy to remove or repair it.

6). Low cost and long tenure of use. The cost of bolted silo is just 35%-50% of the cement silo with the same specification; and its life span can reach 30 years.

7). Hopper bottom silo advantage is can natural flow, but it is capacity limited, capacity no more than 1250tons.

4,       What's the silo structure?

1. Roof

Roof is made up of radiated beam, roof cover board, tension ring, ventilator scoop, roof cap, etc.

The space age construction technology, which is adopted in the design of the silo framework, can ensure the stability of silo under the large span. There is a guardrail around the silo eaves and there is also a manhole on top of the roof.

2. The Silo Body

The silo body is made of high quality hot-dip galvanized steel sheet corrugated by special equipment, equipped with standard hole, connected by normal and high strength bolt.

Include the wall plate, column, manhole, roof ladders and so on.

(1) The wall plate

Our steel is hot galvanized, which makes it durable and weather resistant. Our advanced bolts with spherical washer and the resisting-worn rubber are used to ensure the tightness

and using period.

(2) Column

The column, made by the Z-bar, is used to reinforce the silo body. It is connected by junction panels.

(3) Manhole and Roof Ladders

There are inspection door and ladders inside and outside the silo body. It is convenient and accessible for any maintenance work.

3. Hopper bottom

The hopper is composed of column, ring beam, hopper sheet lacing bar etc.

The column is made from national standard H beam steel , improving the safety and reliability of the steel structure.

With hopper angle of 45degree and 60 degree.

5,       How the silo installed ?

The installation of silos can be carried out by different ways.

*If the client wants to install silos by themselves, we could offer detailed instruction, and we'll give our quickest response to deal with any question in the process.

 *We could also send our engineer to supervise the installation process. The client could find local workers for the installation work and our engineer will help them during the process.

*If the client needs, we could send our installation team for the whole installation issue.

6,       What about the storage safe of grain ?

About Cleaning And Dedusting.

1)Pre-cleaning sieve Double drum pre-cleaner can effectively clean out light impurities, big impurities, fine impurities etc. from grain; With the inclination angle screen drum and the independent support plus the aspiration device, the pre-cleaner is featured with steady operation and good cleaning effect. The capacity range is 10-200t/h,it is applicable to industries of corn deep-processing, oil and fat, feeding stuff and so on.

 

2) Suction separator Suction separator is a winnowing device. It's used for separating light dust. It can be placed both in front of and behind the    pre-cleaner.

3.)Cyclone is used for clean big dust

And also have some other dedust system

About Ventilation:

Ventilation for hopper bottom silo Ventilation System includes Natural ventilation vents, Suction Fan, Ventilation Blower, Ventilation net pipe.
