Energy saving systems
All of SPG's energy-saving systems are a part of SPG's extrusion systems. The biggest energy saving is achieved in the extruder drive and the vacuum pumps in the calibration table. The fully automated energy systems control and optimize the consumption of energy in the dry calibrators, water vacuum tank and water/air separation. By using the energy system, it is possible under optimum conditions to save up to 85% of the line's entire consumption in the area of the calibration table.

ECO Plus Haul-off & Cutter Combination
Equipment consisting of a massive, painted base frame designed for uptake of the caterpillar-cutter unit. Haul-off and cutter can be disassembled easily and be placed next to each other in a distance of max. 1meter. Easy access on operating side due to sliding doors. The machine is controlled by B&R control system.
The driving system of haul-off unit - 2 pcs three-phase AC-motors, directly connected with the reduction gear and driven by 1 pc frequency converter - transfers the adjusted haul-off force. By means of freewheel or optionally by servo drive.
The cutting unit is affected from the bottom up and is moving according to three-dimensional movement to ensure the cutting of profile without deformation. Heating method of knife is conduction heating, to ensure precise temperature. Fastening of knife is with four points' location, pneumatic uniformity and automatic tensioning to extend the life time of knife. Stable guides on the side are adjustable to the profile width and pneumatic profile clamps. The cutting impulse from the cutting program. The cutting length can be measured through encoder impulse and adjustable. The cutting in-feed is synchronous to the haul off speed via pneumatic cylinder or optionally by servo drive. Closed covering of the base frame for sound absorption.
