INTRODUCTION:

Mulhethi (Glycyrroiza): Licorice is sweet and nourishing and is regarded in Ayurvedic medicine as a lung tonic. It is both demulcent and an expectorant. Licorice is taken for adrenal insufficiency. It is an anti-inflammatory and antiulcer herb, somewhat more preferred by men than women since excessive amounts have been associated with hirsutism.

It is used in gastrointestinal and genito-urinary complaints. It is also very effective in female white disease. Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon Citratus Staps): Gokshura is an important plant in Ayurveda.
