Properties:

White to off-white powder ( particle ) , the relative density of 1.29 . Soluble in benzene , acetone , chloroform , carbon disulfide, slightly soluble in alcohol, ether, carbon tetrachloride , insoluble in water , gasoline or dilute alkali . Uses:

The rubber industry as vulcanization accelerator over , often with thiazole accelerators , can also be used with other accelerators and as a continuous rubber accelerator.
