Application of Light Burning Magnesium Oxide Ball for Steeling:
Light burned magnesia ball mainly used as the protective slag of converter slag splashing composition regulator. Because of furnace protection by slag splashing slag are required to have appropriate viscosity and refractoriness, reasonable slag composition is the key to the implementation of furnace protection by slag splashing. General of lining protection by slag can not directly for improving, adjusted by the need to add a certain amount of magnesium oxide ball, at the same time to replace the use of dolomite, reduce slag quantity, increase the content of MgO style in slag.
Because of MgO style is high melting point mineral, melting point 2800 °C, the increase of MgO style content in slag, the slag viscosity and improve the refractoriness, slag easier and lining together, form effective protective layer of slag on the furnace lining, thus improve the lining life, reduce the consumption.
