Specifications

Hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) is the process of dipping fabricated steel into a kettle or vat of molten zinc. While the steel is in the kettle, the iron metallurgically reacts with the molten zinc to form a tightly-bonded alloy coating that provides superior corrosion protection to the steel.

Hot-dip galvanizing features excellent forming properties, paintability, weldability, and is suitable for fabrication by forming, pressing and bending. Applications include domestic applications, building applications (e.g. wall elements, corrugated for roofing applications…), automotive applications, lighting fixtures, drums and various kinds of section applications.
