Absorption materials:

Selection of filters:

Protection:

Selection of chemical filters

1. Absorption capacity: The max absorption capacity of a certain gas by a unit of active carbon is called" absorption capacity" . Different active carbon materials may absorb different gas and the absorption capacity of filters, we must understand kinds and density of pollutants, airflow temperature and relative humidity.

2. Filtering speed: Filtering speed refers to airflow speed passing the surface of a certain absorption material. Absorption rate is high if filtering speed is low and contact of air and active carbon is long. When using active carbon filters, customers shall reasonably select filtering speed (filtering air quantity).

3. Service life: As times goes on, the absorption rate of active carbon will reduce continuously and the filter shall be replaced when harmful gases passing through the filter reaches the maximum allowable value. The service life of this kind of filter is related with many factors such as density of pollutants, temperature, humidity, volume of filtered wind and amount of active carbons. The amount of active carbons determines the length of service life of filters when other factors are fixed.

4. Replacement of filters: People can judge if a filter shall be changed or not according to pollutant density before and after the filtering.
