USE & CARE: 

1.  Widely used in cooking preparation to crush, grind and pulp herbs, seeds, garlic, pesto and spices.

2.  You're in control of the grind with a mortar and pestle set. It is your manual food processor, able to grind just about any type of food that will fit in the bottom of the mortar. And because of the minimal friction, aromas don't burn off in the grinding, like they do with a food processor or electric grinder. Ideal for making pesto and all types of dressings.

3.  Place food in mortar (bowl) in small quantities, and push down with pestle, making a circular motion to grind food. Be sure not to use too much force and have a firm grip on the mortar

4.  As granite is a natural material, there may be a slight variation between the color of the image shown and the actual product within.

5.  Wash in soapy water and dry with towel. No recommended for use in dishwasher.

6.  Lift and place with care and never slide over bench top as this may scratch surface.
