What is white CVD diamond?

The white CVD diamond is translucent with high purity. Chemical Vapour deposite(CVD)synthetic diamond is typically produced in a vacuum system below atmospheric pressure,with the carbon atoms suppiled from a gas such as methane.The ability to control gas purity makes CVD diamond growth a particulary effective way to make synthetic diamond for applications requiring very high chemical purity,inculding optical,electronic and certain mechanical applications .

We can classify cvd diamond into two types according to their production technology and application. They are premium type and standard type.

What is the feature of premium type?

It has high transmission , high thermal conductivity and especially high abrasion resistance. It is the best replacement of natural diamond and synthetic diamond. It is used for the processing environments where extreme high abradability and heat dissipation is required.
