The instrument is designed and made as per T0620 " Asphalt Dynamic Viscosity Test (Vacuum Decompression Capillary Methods)" in the Industry Standard JTJ052 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering, and Petrochemical Standard SH/0557 " Test Methods for Viscosity of Petroleum Asphalt (Vacuum Capillary Methods)" .
The instrument is suitable to determine dynamic viscosity of petroleum asphalt using a vacuum decompression capillary viscometer. If there is no otherwise stated, the testing temperature is 60 ℃, and its vacuum degree is 300 mmHg. The instrument is also suitable to determine other materials, the viscosity of which is at 0.0036~20.000Pa.s at 60 ℃, and 300 mmHg (40 kPa).
