Lead acid batteries are 60% Lead alloy by weight, and 40% plastic and acid. The alloy is special because, besides lead, it contains trace amounts of copper, selenium, tin, antimony, and other elements that improve its electrochemical properties. Batteries should not be black with ebonite material.

Auto and Truck Drained lead battery scraps are as per (ISRI code "RAINS") drained dry, clean, free of liquid acid, in accordance with ISRI code "RAINS". Lead Percentage:60%, 95% white colors, balance mixed colors also, all in PP casing. Packaging according to ("RAINS"). Contain plastic or rubber cases, but not contain wooden metal or glass cases.
