CK series(new)

With the development of drilling technology, oil fields are challenging for deeper and more complex stratigraphic constantly. We follow the tradition of continuous innovation, carried out in-depth researches on the mechanical properties and bit failure mechanism when drilling the deep hard rock bedding, supply a new generation of PDC bits - "CK" series drill bits, which can work in the complex formation of dense and high abrasive.
G series
Gold Series bit is a premium line of CSC PDC bits with features that optimize both bit durability and rate of penetration. After many years of research on the rock, cutting mechanics and residual stress into a cutter during the manufacturing process, Hughes Christensen's engineers developed new patented diamond cutter technology, which is the foundation of Gold Series PDC bits.
BD/BX series
BD series (Black Diamond) technology is developed on the basis of "G" series, which extended PDC bits application range. So far, BD series have been widely used in the domestic and international oilfields."
STR series
STR series is a type of PDC bit especially designed for the slim hole. Specific cutters layout and patented cutters application improved bit working life. With its reasonable design of the back rake angle of the cutters , which reduced the bit torque and improved the bit orientation ability.
Steel Body PDC Bits
After years of research work, CSC engineers developed new types of "GS" series steel body PDC bits on the basis of successful type of "G" series. This line is further optimized by adopting the theory of force balance, hydraulic balance and cuttings removal balance.
As the type is of specific steel body, GS series is more flexible in the application of complicated and changeable formation; various kinds of patent cutters can be selected as for the specific formation and customers' requirement; the spiral blade with up-rake s make the bit more aggressive and can obtain the higher ROP; the patent painting make the bit body good erosion-resistant, greatly avoid balling-up.
Chipmaster
Chipmaster series usually drill in the soft and sticky formation where bit balling often occurred. This type features of specific geometry shape and hydraulic jetting, which improved the cuttings disposal and optimized the bottom hole cleaning.
Chipmaster series have 2 nozzles for each blade, one is located in the junk-slot(primary nozzle), the other is located in the chase of the blades. Nozzle placement and hydraulic jet angle are reasonably designed, which improves the efficient cutting and better bottom-hole cleaning.
Chipmaster series adopt anti-whirl technology(alpha "A"), which greatly improves the stability. Unbalanced force of cutter installing and placement can purposely lead the bit closely contact the well, finally creating the stable rotary condition.
Impregnated series
Impregnated Bit (S series) is a premium line of specific diamond bits which utilizes hot pressed segments. This type extends the application of diamond bits, especially in the extremely and highly abrasive formation.
Unique Shape: Continuous cutting structure utilizes a balanced mixture of diamond size to increase the space between rock and bit. This extra "standoff" results in better cutting removal and higher ROP.
Flexible Design of Segment: The design of impregnated bit can adopt the high pressed and low pressed impregnated technology. The high pressed utilize the soft matrix, which is easy to wear for the efficient exposure of diamonds; the low pressed utilize the hard and wear-resistant matrix body. CSC engineers can make the match the impregnated segments with the customers' requirements.
Flexible Matrix Powder: In order to fulfill the best quality, adopt the specific matrix formula according to the drilling formation, which ensures the bit self-sharpening and exposure, and gets the best ROP.
"Super Cone" Design: All impregnated bits utilize "Super Cone" technology for enhancing durability and balanced wear. "Super Cone" design means layout TSP and PDC cutters in the cone of bit, which increased the contact space of the cone and improved bits cutting efficiency in the centre.
N.D/Ballaset bits
D series bit adopt the superior natural diamond cutters to sinter furnace on the erosion-resistant bit body. It penetrates in the high abrasion formation by plough or shear, for example in the granite and quarts drilling.
S series bits use synthetic thermally-stabled Ballaset Cutters(TSP), which are sintered directly into the matrix. The cutters are triangular or round with the size of 1 stone/carat to be selected. Compared with conventional formation and thermally stable up to 1200°. TSP bit can drill formation by shear, plough and grind. The self-sharpening TSP can effectively drill medium hard formation with IADC 517-737, which have high compressive strength and medium abrasive. The excellent drilling results will be obtained especially in limestone, dolomite, silt-stone and anhydrite.
By CAD, CSC can get the exact design of cutter layout, location density and total fluid area(TFA), fluid course arrangement (feeder/collector or radial fluid course) to match various formation and drilling condition. These bits are able to get efficient cleaning and cooling, better ROP and footage in the hard formation drilling , especially in the deep well and heavy mud density well.
Core bit series
CSC's core bit use tungsten carbide matrix with a steel skeleton in it. The bits adopt parabolic, double cone, tapered step crown profile, and diamond inner and outer gauge. CSC can provide possible quick ROP, high core recovery, low cost, excellent durability in various formations under all drilling conditions combined with other types of core tools. CSC also designs varied special core bits for the special needs on site.
RWD Tool
RWD is a tool designed to under ream the hole while simultaneously drilling ahead, which is adopted from American Hughes Christensen Company. This technology is not only suitable in vertical well drilling, but also suitable for slim hole and big inclination well drilling.
Advantages of RWD
- it can drill the bigger hole than the casing;
- it can ream while drilling for various kinds of well types;
- it can get maximum space between the casing and hole, improved well quality;
- it can make the casing work more stable in the high dog-leg angle well;
- it can drill the bigger diameter hole in the multiple branches wells;
- it can lower the risk of stick in the big inclination well, swelling ground, flowing ground and exhausted sandstone;
- it can increase the hole diameter of the production well section, helps increase the output.
The basic theory of RWD products is similar to bicentre bit, the most important geometry feature are: Pass-through size, Pilot size, Reaming size and Reaming angle. The size of pilot bit and reaming blade should be less than the casing size. So the RWD can easily get to the bottom hole. The revolution diameter of reaming blade should be bigger than the casing diameter, so it can ream and drill under the casing.
