GB/T 18254 GCr4 is a kind of
high-carbon chromium bearing steel.GCr4 bearing steel is a low hardenability
steel with good impact resistance . And also GB/T 18254 GCr4 saves energy and
resources(Cr,Mn,Si,Mo).
This material has been used for railcar axle box
bearing,changes GCr15SiMn or GCr15 the situation whose use for bearing inner
rings. Now the life is one time longer than before. GCr4 is usually for steel
balls or running pulley of low loading and simple shape machine shaft.
