1. GB/T 18254 GCr15SiMn main
features and application
GB/T 18254 GCr15SiMn is a kind of high-carbon
chromium bearing steel. Compared with GCr15 steel,it contains higher percent of
Si,Mn element,which improves the hardenability and elastic limit. Besides,
abrasion performance is better than GCr15. But GCr15SiMn is sensitive to the
white dot, temper brittleness,plastic deformation in cold working.
GB/T 18254
GCr15SiMn is usually used to manufacture bearing ring,steel ball,cone
roller,spherical roller in big size. The bearing parts works at temperature
lower than 180°C. Besides,GCr15SiMn can also be used for parts that high
hardness and abrasive resistance are required, such as abrasives,measuring
tools,taps.
