APPLICATION This series of water meter is used to measure the total quantity of cold potable water which consumed in household or a resident unit, passing through the pipeline. The body can be plastic painted or chrome coated, or nickel coated for optional. Dry-dial type, small body, inlet strainer,light weight, 8 digits and 1 red point, magnet resistance. Sealed dry dial register ensures frost resistance and keep clear reading for long time. Register can rotate free 360 degrees for easily reading in any position. For hot water up to 90C degree is available. Plastic body, external regulating device and remote transmission device for optional. Approvals in over 50 countries. CONSTRUCTION The meter mainly consists of a body, a impeller, a indicator unit, a seal plate, a impact plate, a plastic ring with lid. The impact plate secures the internal parts. WORKING PRINCIPLE The water operates on the velocity principle that a jet of water enters the water meter body and drives the impeller. The impeller is suspended by hydrodynamic forces to give minimum load on the bearings. The impeller rotation is magnetically transmitted to the register which the reading is made. COMPLIANCE WITH STANDARD Technical data conforms to ISO 4064:2005 Standard for horizontal installation/vertical installation. Threaded connections comply with BSP Standard.
